ROLEPLAYING<\/strong><\/p>\n I have had the good fortune to be introduced to AD&D at a young age, whereupon I was immediately hooked.\u00a0 But it wasn’t until 2000, when D&D 3.0 came out, that I developed a solid grasp of the rules (to this day, I cannot calculate thac0).\u00a0 Since then, I’ve been a DM and a player in multiple campaigns using RPG systems such as D&D (all editions since 3rd), Pathfinder, D20 Modern, and D20 Star Wars: Saga Edition.\u00a0 So far, the later is my favorite. <\/p>\n TABLETOP WARGAMING<\/strong><\/p>\n Mordheim was my “gateway drug” into the Warhammer hobby.\u00a0 When I was barely in my teens, I was busily putting together warbands of 15-20 models while wondering with incredulity who could ever purchase, assemble and paint the hundreds of models required for Warhammer Fantasy or 40,000.<\/p>\n And then a few years later, I became one of those people.\u00a0 I purchased, assembled, and… started getting around to painting a Fantasy Empire army before my friends and I decided we’d rather play Warhammer 40k.\u00a0 Now I’ve purchased, assembled, and… am still painting a Tau army.<\/p>\n I’m a rather slow model painter.<\/p>\n I’ve also been making scratch-built terrain for the tabletop since my Mordheim days.\u00a0 My favorite is building ruins, where I get to pretend I’m an incredibly pessimistic architect.<\/p>\n A special mention should be given to X-Wing, my favorite FFG game that involves simulated dogfights between model starships (that I’m not required to paint!).<\/p>\n That’s all for now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Consider this my nerd resume: ROLEPLAYING I have had the good fortune to be introduced to AD&D at a young age, whereupon I was immediately hooked.\u00a0 But it wasn’t until 2000, when D&D 3.0 came out, that I developed a solid grasp of the rules (to this day, I cannot calculate thac0).\u00a0 Since then, I’ve … <\/p>\n
